Easter Weekend

This past weekend was all about family. The three of us spent all day Friday trying to do yard work but ended up playing outside instead. Saturday, we went to Kingston for a two year old’s birthday party and enjoyed some Swiss Chalet chicken for dinner on the way home.

Sunday morning, Patrick ran out to the living room to see that the Easter Bunny had come during the night. After a quick egg hunt and some breakfast, we headed outside. The temperature was in the low teens (Celsius), so we went for a short bike ride, followed by another egg hunt in the backyard. I’m not sure Patrick was really into the whole egg hunt thing, as he wanted to just give up, so we had to make the eggs really obvious to find. He simply loved running around with both Stephanie and I, constantly giving us hugs and asking us to watch whatever weird thing he was doing. Stephanie’s family came over in the afternoon and we had a delicious ham dinner before crashing around 9:30pm.

I had today off work, so Patrick and I spent the day doing various things around the house and in town before playing some video games. All in all, it was a good weekend. Below are a couple shots of the egg hunt in the backyard.
