Omemee

I haven’t had a chance to post these until now, but I suspect some of you have already seen these on my 500px page. Last Friday, a buddy and I went shooting on a chilly, snowy night in Omemee, Ontario (just outside Peterborough). Not really sure what we’d find we headed straight to the water, bridges and dam to get some cool moving water at night type shots.

The last shot in this series is an HDR or high dynamic range image, which is basically multiple photos taken with different exposures stacked on top of one another to create a composite image that is representative of both the dark and light areas of the scene.

It took a couple days to get my core temperature back to normal as the wind was just blasting. I’ve also been fighting a cold ever since.
