Today was a good day to be outside. Hovering just above the freezing mark, the bright sun made it feel a lot warmer than it actually was. This afternoon, we headed down towards Port Hope, Ontario. No reason in particular other than to go for a drive. We ended up at the fish ladder on the Ganaraska River and watched the salmon try and make their way to the top. I was there last weekend, but the fish ladder was broken and the water was not quite warm enough for the fish to be active.
In a span of 15 minutes I fired off 200 photos – most of which were just photos of water. They move very quickly so there is more luck than skill in getting a decent shot. I’ll try and post a couple others later this week.
