Took this shot of a trillium last Thursday with the Kawartha Camera Club. The sun was hovering on the horizon just about to go down. The actual sun is positioned directly behind the flower which helps brighten it up a bit. This was a lone trillium without any others around it. I had to lay flat on my stomach to get the perspective I wanted with the colours of the sunset in the background. After I took it, I was shocked how well the bokeh (blurry background) looked.
