Algonquin Provincial Park

Earlier this week, I was fortunate to spend two days in Algonquin Park for a work meeting. Like last year, our section at work spent the days in the meeting room at the Harkness Fisheries Research Laboratory on Lake Opeongo. At the end of the first day, we were given a couple hours free time before dinner, so a bunch of people went on a couple of the hiking trails off Highway 60. I’ve been on these trails a bunch of times before, but have never brought my camera along.

Early the next morning before breakfast, I headed out with the camera down the road to the Opeongo Outfitter Store. There wasn’t a single person there, so I spent some time walking about the property snapping some shots. Below are a couple of my favorites from the trip.
