The Toronto Reference Library, (or “The Ref” as we used to call it), is the largest public reference library in Canada. This is a place that we used to come to often during high school to research various papers and assignments. It was a time before the Internet really took off. In all fairness, it was an excuse to go downtown. Since I first visited the building in the mid-90s, I’ve been awestruck with the architecture and layout of the building. The levels, the curves and the sheer size of the place is quite impressive. When I found out I was staying just down the street for work, I knew I had to bring the camera here. Below are a couple of my favourite shots.
