Last week our camera club visited the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough, Ontario for an evening of some very challenging photography. In my opinion, this was a difficult place to photograph for a couple reasons: 1) it’s very dark in the museum, so the use of either a flash, tripod or high ISO was essential; and 2) the number people from our club that came out was high, making it difficult to get a photo that didn’t include other photographers – that’s why most of my shots below are showing the details.
The museum was founded in 1997 and holds over more than 600 canoes, kayaks, and other paddled watercraft. If you are ever in the Peterborough area, I highly recommend checking this place out. Below are some of my favourite shots from the evening.
