An Evening in Beavermead Park

Two weeks ago our camera club went down to Beavermead Park in Peterborough. I forget what the challenge was for that night, but I ended up wandering around trying to picture my shots in black and white. Trying to think of what makes a decent black and white photo. Things such as contrast, shapes, lines and textures are all things that I look for in addition to interesting subjects to shoot. I only brought one camera (Pentax K-1000) and a single roll of expired Kodak BW400CN. I’m really happy with how the images turned out… mostly because they captured the image I had in my head before taking the shot.
