Similar to the Lomography Redscale film I shot back in the summer, this is a unique film stock intended to give photos with interesting colour shifts. Lomochrome Purple is a colour negative film with an infrared look and feel. Basically, the blues become turquoise/green, and greens turn purple. What I find interesting about this film is that it keeps skin tones reasonably natural.
I purchased this film back in the summer with the idea of shooting it in the autumn with vibrant colours. I like this film much better that the redscale and will definitely be purchasing more of it at some point. The shots below were all taken at a local pumpkin festival on a Yashica MAT-124.
