Last Saturday it rained, so we spent the day just lazing around the house. The rain eventually let up and the sun came out later in the afternoon, so my 7 year old and I each grabbed a camera and a roll of HP5 and headed downtown for a short photo walk. Before I took my first photo, I noticed that the light meter on my Pentax MX wasn’t working. I suspected it was an issue with the battery but had to use the Sunny 16 rule to determine exposure… something I’ve never tried before. Shocked how well it worked. Below are some shots from out brief walk around Peterborough.
