Classics at the Barn

We’re pretty lucky to live where we live. Just up the road, there is a fairly large car show that is held every Thursday throughout the summer. It’s a good excuse to get outside and check out some cool cars. Also a great place to take some vintage cameras. Last Thursday, after our camera club meeting at the local speedway, I ventured to the car show with my Crown Graphic camera and 6 sheets of Fomapan 200. Shooting large format handheld takes a bit more patience, but the mobility makes it much easier to move around without the need of a tripod. Anyways, I’m sure there will be many more visits to the car show over the next couple of months!

    • Depends on what I’m shooting. I generally use the ground glass if it’s setup on a tripod and the subject isn’t going anywhere. Rangefinder works well to keep things portable like at a car show or shooting family and friends.
