Early last week, I was in Algonquin Park for 3 days at a work meeting. Not having much free time to explore with a camera, I was forced to get up before dawn and head out. I walked the first part of the Beaver Trail Pond with a flashlight because I couldn’t see a thing. I made it down to the first opening and set up my 4×5 camera and then just waited for some light. There was some fog coming off the wetland that looked pretty cool when back-lit with the rising sun. It’s been a number of years since I’ve done a dedicated photography trip up to the park. Perhaps it’s time to plan another.
