Otonabee Gravel Pit Conservation Area

Back in early November, my wife and I had the day off work so decided to get outside and do some hiking. We ended up at the Otonabee Gravel Pit Conservation Area… which I had simply found using Google Maps. It was basically just an old gravel pit. No signs or hiking trails to guide visitors. Not even a parking lot. We walked around for a bit before heading home. Below are a couple shots taken during our short visit.
