The Woods at Fleming College

This past Thursday, I joined our local camera club on an outing to photograph trilliums at various spots around town. In fact, I only made it to one spot before calling it a night. The woods at Fleming College are a favourite of the club, yet I haven’t ever been there before. The bugs weren’t bad and the light was fantastic as I spent over an hour walking amongst the trilliums and shooting with my Yashica MAT-124 TLR camera and a couple rolls of Arista EDU Ultra 400 medium format film. The light meter on this camera no longer works, so I was using an app on my iPhone to determine the camera settings. This is a place I will definitely return to at different times of the year to see how it changes. Below are a bunch of shots that I feel turned out alright.

Camera: Yashica MAT-124
Lens: Yashinon 80mm f/.3.5
Film: Arista EDU Ultra 400
Developer: Kodak HC-110 Dilution B @ 18.4C for 7:58 minutes.
Scanner: Epson V850
Catalog ID: 2018-019/020
