Classics at the Barn

This is actually a post from two separate outings to this car show. The first show, I brought my son, Nikon F3 and a roll of Kosmo Foto Mono 100. The second, I was with the local camera club, my Pentax 6×7 and a roll of Arista EDU Ultra 400.

I’ve been going to this weekly car show for a long while now and I’m getting the feeling like I’m starting to run out of ideas. Every week it’s the same bunch of cars and I’m starting to see myself repeating the same photos over and over. I find that trying to come up with a new way to shoot is difficult. In a previous post, I mentioned that these car shows are just as much about the car owners as it is about the cars, so perhaps that’s where I should focus future efforts. The problem is that I am very self-conscious when taking pictures of people. Even from a distance, I don’t have confidence to aim a camera at someone. Not sure how to overcome this…
