Lang Grist Mill and Hope Mill

Last week, the camera club went to a couple mills just north of Keene, Ontario. Both of these I’ve been to several times and have even brought the large format camera with me. It’s been a while since I’ve had it out, so it was fun to go through the time consuming process of making an image. I even waded out into the middle of the river to try and get a certain shot, but couldn’t find the composition I was hoping for. We made it out just in time, as the heavy rain started kicking up during my final shot. Below are all six shots from the evening.

Camera: Pacemaker Crown Graphic 4×5
Lens: Kodak Ektar 127mm f/4.7
Film: Ilford HP5 Plus 400
Developer: Kodak HC-110 (Dilution B) @ 20.6C for 4:45 minutes.
Scanner: Epson V850
Catalog ID: 2018-Sheet-014-019
