Peterborough Jail Park

The Peterborough jail opened in 1842 and operated until 2001 where it sat vacant for 14 years before being demolished and turned into an urban park. The park still has remnants form the jail with plaques describing what the jail and was like and about the types of inmates that were housed there. It’s a neat little spot behind the courthouse. I brought my son with me and we snapped a couple photos.
