North Bay

I am constantly in awe the kinds of images that can be produced with this piece of crap, plastic camera. The Holga 120N is quickly becoming a favourite of mine. The only real issue I have with it is the amount of black tape I have to put all over the camera to stop light leaks. It makes it very difficult to change rolls quickly in the field. I really dig the softness and vignetting of the images, but can’t stand the light leaks. I can definitely see a future project or photo book emerging using just the Holga. Below are a couple images from a trip I took to North Bay back at the beginning of November. I was there for work and only had a couple spare minutes in the late afternoon to walk along the lake shore and grab these shots before the light was gone.
