A couple weeks ago I turned 40 years old. It’s kind of a weird feeling turning 40… and only because I vividly remember when my dad turned 40. I remember what we did for that party and who was there and some conversations that were had… and to be honest, it didn’t seem that long ago… even though it’s been 30 years since.
I started my day off by running a 5k fun run with my oldest son at the Peterborough Riverview Park and Zoo. In the afternoon, we had a get together at our place and invited family and friends up for the afternoon and dinner. It was a pretty nice day, so we spent some time outside playing frisbee, slack lining and had a campfire. I couldn’t have asked for a better day. I also wanted to run a second roll of film through my recently fixed Yashica D. There’s still some quirky things going on with this camera, but I think I’m figuring them out. Below are some shots from the day.
